Frozen Grape Pops

This is one of my favorite treats ever and it is so easy to do your child will love it! This treat is a very healthy choice rather than a bowl of ice-cream which contains lot of sugar and artificial flavors that is bad for your child and you. Hope you enjoy this easy quick snack!

Things that you will need:
  • Grapes – any color or size, washed
  • Lollipop sticks – preferably 8 inches long, but any size will do. You can buy these at Walmart, or any cake/candy supply place. (We tried these with popsicle sticks and they are too wide for the small grapes.)
  • And a freezer  lol

First, wash your grapes and dry them as best you can with a paper towel. Then pick about 6 grapes per 8 inch stick. Using the hole side of the grape, push your grape onto the stick. Go down about 1-2 inches from the bottom. Now pile the rest on.

Place your grape sticks in a freezer safe plastic bag. It’s best to wait over night for really good frozen grapes, but we could only wait till the afternoon. Even then, they were cold, mostly frozen, and delicious.

This super healthy frozen treat that you can give to your kids is the best way to replace an unhealthy icecream which contains lots of sugar for your kids.

My Top 3 Parks For Children!

#1 Grand Hope Park

Grand Hope Park is at the heart of Downtown LA it is surrounded by sky high buildings and it is one of a kind park with lots of space and sitting area. I take my daughter here all the time and I had never said or  heard any complains about this park. I really recommend this park for parents whose kids are still little like ages 1-5 because you could close the gates of the playground so your child won't go anywhere without you noticing and the park also has day security so it is a very safe environment.

#2 Griffith Park

Griffith Park is a perfect place to take your family for a day at the park! This park is very unique it's everything in one package you have the playground, horseback riding, train ride, and even a zoo! What else can you ask for g check it out!

#3 Pan Pacific Park

This Park is one of my favorite parks because it is very close to me and very clean. Pan Pacific
Park is right next to the Grove and that is a big plus if you want to do a little shopping afterwards.
I really recomend this park to all mothers looking for a very clean and green park because it is surrounded by green grass all around.

Healthy After School Snacks: Frosted Pretzel Sticks

We know how hungry kids can get after a long day at school or daycare but you should really think it twice before you hand your child a sucker or a bag of potato chips. Instead try this! Today we will learn how to make this yummy snack for your kid(s) not only is it healthier but its crunchy and yummy too! Plus your child can help in making these snack!

You will need:
  • Pretzel Rods
  • Sprinkles (your choice)
  • White or Pink Frosting

  1. The first thing we need to do is put frosting in a small container.  Add a tiny bit of water at a time, mixing well, to get a slightly thinner consistency.  You want the frosting to stick to the pretzel sticks but not in a blobby way.
  2. Dip the end of the pretzel rod into the frosting, coating the top third or even half of the pretzel.  Tap pretzel a few times, against inside of mug, to remove excess but make sure the pretzel is coated.
  3. Immediately shake sprinkles onto the coating and then set uncoated end in another mug, or lay across a small bowl, leaving the coating set until hardened.
  4. When coating are completely set, you can then package for giving.  To serve at your party, just arrange pretzel rods in a container, coated ends up. You can have lots of fun decorating it and making them unique! Enjoy!
